This healthy doggie birthday cake is not only delicious but super easy to make too! You just need seven ingredients: oats, baking powder, bananas, strawberries, vanilla, milk and yogurt to frost. Oats make an excellent source of fibre so great for dogs with digestive issues. Bananas and strawberries add a delicious juiciness to this cake whilst also rich in vitamins and antioxidants to help keep your dog healthy and happy.

A note from our Soopa nutritionist:
The listed fruit, oats and oat flour can fit many healthy adult dogs, with banana and coconut yoghurt kept to small portions and baking powder used at normal recipe quantities. Oat flour may fit some diabetes or weight-management plans, but fruit portions still need accounting for. Check for sensitive digestion, pancreatic enzyme insufficiency (EPI), fibre restrictions, kidney-related potassium control or tightly restricted bladder-stone diets. Coconut yoghurt adds cautions for pancreatitis, high blood fats, gallbladder and liver problems. Use tolerated milk without added salt or sweeteners, and vanilla without alcohol or xylitol. Check strawberries for dogs with thyroid conditions.
