Benefits of Carrots
As a kid you were probably told to “eat your carrots, they are good for your eyes”. We have also known carrots are healthy and good for us, and it is the exact same thing for dogs.
Carrots are crunchy and naturally sweet, making them a favourite snack among dogs. This vegetable offers several health benefits. Some of these include:

A study in 2005 showed that dogs that ate any green leafy vegetables, like broccoli, had reduced the risk of developing bladder cancer by 90% and the dogs that consumed any yellow – orange vegetables like carrots reduced the risk by 70%!

If your dog has diabetes, ask your vet before you give them carrots as they are high in natural sugars which could complicate matters.
