Keep treats and extras within around 10% of your dog’s daily calories, especially for dogs who are overweight, diabetic, prone to pancreatitis, or on a veterinary diet.
The Canine Dietitian Tip
This is a fun summer enrichment treat, not a health cure. Berries can be a lovely addition to your dog’s diet, but portion size still matters — especially for smaller dogs.
